Welcome, Homebuilders Homebuilders are the most important members of the PATH technology chain as they make decisions about how to build and what materials to use. Homebuilders also are the first line of contact with homebuyers. Regardless of their production volume or type, homebuilders and remodelers must select building methods and choices and respond to the demands of consumers for specific housing technologies. Also, although a new technology might offer a better building solution, finding or training skilled labor is a costly pursuit for most homebuilders. These are just a few reasons why PATH has developed many programs with the builder in mind. Working with the NAHB Research Center and other homebuilding groups, PATH provides tools and publications that homebuilders can use if they have questions about existing or developing technologies.
