California Workshops Encourage Builders to Go Beyond the Code
PATH is presenting at three educational workshop sessions sponsored by the Great Valley Center, a non-profit organization working to make California's heartland a better place to live. The one-day workshops, entitled "Planning, Designing, Building, and Profiting with New Technologies," are intended for builders, developers, and planners in the San Joaquin Valley of California, which is one of the fastest growing regions in America. New housing and commercial buildings are appearing at a rapid rate in this area.
The program focuses on how new communications and energy technologies, including various PATH-approved technologies, can increase profits from new residential and commercial developments. PATH will present information on technologies and strategies that will help builders to move beyond the code to construct quality, durable and affordable homes.
Attendees will get practical advice on including advanced technologies in their business strategies, generating a better return on investment, and ensuring a better quality of life. In addition, the workshops will address two major challenges affecting the region: air quality and economic development. Sessions will be held from 9:00 a.m. -- 3:00 p.m. on the following dates in these locations: September 30 -- Modesto, CA; October 1 -- Fresno, CA; October 2 -- Bakersfield, CA
Register for a workshop session.
