Southeast Builders Learn About PATH's "Bright Ideas"
PATH will present an educational program on efficiency in building systems, entitled "Bright Ideas To Build On," at the Southeast Building Conference in Orlando, July 24-26. PATH will review the economic and efficiency merits of structural insulated panels. Visit the conference Web site.
Innovation in Action at the Benchmark Conference
PATH will reach many of the country's top homebuilding decision makers at the 2003 Benchmark Conference in New Orleans, September 21-24. PATH's conference presentation, "Innovation in Action," will highlight advanced technologies that builders and remodelers are using today to improve business operations and the bottom line. U.S. & Spain Exchange Ideas at Housing Forum
PATH exhibited at a homebuilding exchange between Spain and the United States in Miami, June 17-18. Over 100 government officials and industry leaders from both countries shared their expertise. PATH provided information on establishing and managing public-private partnerships that promote the development and use of innovative products in residential housing. The forum was co-sponsored by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Mel Martinez, U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta, and Spanish Ministry of Development Minister Francisco Alvarez-Cascos.
Teaming to Win in West Virginia
PATH exhibited at the Teaming to Win 2003 Conference, held in Chester, West Virginia on May 29. The Teaming to Win organization, developed in the late 1980s by U.S. Congressman Alan B. Mollohan of West Virginia, works to advance and improve small business prospects in the state. PATH networked with business leaders and provided information on innovative technologies and services in homebuilding.
Making Affordable Housing Affordable
PATH provided information to regional nonprofit housing and homebuilding leaders at a one-day conference in St. Paul, Minnesota on April 30. The conference, "Making Affordable Housing Affordable: Reducing Building Costs Through Innovation," highlighted cost reduction strategies and new approaches to affordable homebuilding.
