PATH-Sponsored NextGen Home to Highlight Building Technologies for Builders and Consumers

The Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing (PATH) is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the 2006 NextGen Demonstration Home. The "Peace of Mind" home will be displayed at the 2006 International Builders' Show (IBS) in Orlando, Florida from January 11-14, and then moved to the new "Pebble Creek" community in Tampa, Florida. The home will include such features as OVE framing; optimized heating, ventilation and air conditioning; trim-able open web floor truss; a tankless water heater; PEX piping; radiant heating; wind-resistant roofing; energy efficient windows and other innovative construction technologies.

Several PATH Manufacturer Partners are participating in the demonstration home including Dupont, REHAU, and SEISCO. The Institute for Business and Home Safety, another PATH Partner, is also sponsoring the home.

The NextGen "Peace of Mind" home will be manufactured by Palm Harbor and erected onsite by Brownstone Builders & Associates of Landenberg, Pennsylvania.

The NextGen Demonstration Home is a project of iShow, an Internet broadcasting firm serving the residential construction industry.
