PATH Tutorial Townhouses to Show Off Technologies
Innovative demonstration homes featured at 2005 International Builders' Show
The Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing (PATH) is pleased to announce the PATH Tutorial Townhouses featured in the Reed Communications' Show Village at the 2005 International Builders’ Show (IBS) from Jan. 13 to 16 in Orlando, Florida. Builders will be able to interact with compelling real-world examples of advanced technologies. The demonstration homes will display more than 20 innovations from the PATH Technology Inventory that promote affordability, energy-efficiency, durability, quality, and diminish environmental impacts and damage from natural disasters.

The PATH Tutorial Townhouses will be the only demonstration homes at IBS to give visitors a unique opportunity to see both the finished product and the behind-the-scenes technology. Guests will enter through an unfinished unit with exposed building products, and then tour a completed second home. The self-guided tutorial will allow visitors a before-and-after perspective of the integration of building systems and technologies.
The unique two-unit site, which will be built by leading modular homes builder Nationwide Homes, will feature a variety of technologies, including several from the PATH Top Ten list. The innovations include:
