Your dream home just won't appear when you want it. It will take many months to build - which can only start once the lot has been purchased, the house designed, building permits signed, and materials and labor acquisitioned.

The building schedule below provides a rough time frame of how long you should expect the building process to last. Click on the stages below to learn about them.

This timeframe is based on a 2000 square foot home; larger homes may take
2 or 3 times as long. It also reflects the average best-case scenario. Delays
such as inclement weather or the lack of available materials or labor can add
a considerable amount of time.
