Resources to be discussed Sunday on WMAL 630 AM in Washington, D.C.
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing's (PATH) Glen Salas and PATH Partner Fernando Pagés Ruiz will appear on "Home Innovations" from 11 a.m. until noon, Sunday, August 7 on WMAL (630 AM) in Washington, D.C. Pagés Ruiz is the owner of Brighton Construction in Lincoln, Nebraska, and the author of "Building an Affordable House: Trade Secrets for High-Value, Low-Cost Construction." Salas is an engineer with D&R; International.
Pagés Ruiz will discuss the elements of PATH’s Concept Home, while Salas will review the Top 10 Technologies and the Tech Set program, a new resource to help builders implement innovations in manageable, systems-based packages. PATH's third Tech Set, "HVAC: Forced Air System" shows builders how to improve the energy efficiency, durability, and performance of the forced air system through proper design and installation procedures.
