Overcoming Barriers to Innovation in the Homebuilding Industry
This PATH report documents PATH's investigation of barriers to innovation in the housing industry, and provides feasible, concrete recommendations for overcoming those barriers. After completing an extensive literature review, PATH convened expert investigatory panels to discuss three barriers to innovation in housing-risk, industry participant preferences, and education/communication. The expert panels report their findings, then make nine specific recommendations for overcoming barriers to innovation in housing.
