Through PATH support, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is developing a set of affordability guidelines for owner-occupied housing. This report describes the NIST--PATH Housing Affordability Workshop held on June 4-5, 2003. The purpose of the workshop was to discuss ways for measuring and assessing the consequences of technology and innovation on the affordability of housing.
