Path

Introduction

PATH’s partners are organized into two broad categories of membership: the Coordinating Council and the Affiliated Organizations.

The Coordinating Council provides overall leadership and guidance to the PATH program. It is made up of leading organizations within the housing industry who are willing to commit substantial time and resources to formulating PATH’s strategic objectives and guiding PATH’s activities. Members of the current Council were appointed based on their support for and participation in the original planning for the PATH program.

PATH’s Affiliated Organizations represent a broad cross spectrum of the housing industry. Each has formally committed to supporting PATH goals; to participating in collaborative R&D; and/or demonstration programs; to sharing nonproprietary information with other PATH partners; to providing time and resources for specific PATH initiatives; and to assigning a specific staff member to act as a designated liaison to the PATH office. The Affiliated Organizations are currently organized into the following categories which represent the key constituencies of PATH’s membership:

Builders/Remodelers/Developers; Housing Manufacturers; Product Manufacturers; Financial and Insurance Organizations; Trade and Professional Associations; Codes and Standards Organizations; Distributors/Retailers; Universities/Research Laboratories; State/Local Government Agencies; Federal Government Agencies; Utilities; and Labor.

To apply for consideration as an Affiliated Organization, please fill out an Affiliated Organization Entry Form and submit it to PATH for review.
