Given that your property manager does
not appear to have responded to your
concerns, you may wish to speak with the
local health department or the local
building code department.
Most communities have established
standards for the maintenance of
properties. These housing codes
frequently require properties be
maintained to a standard. The management
of these housing codes is generally the
responsibility of either the health
department or the building code
department.
With regard to your concerns about being
evicted, you may wish to speak with your
community's legal aid (legal services)
group. The city government information
(or the local library) should be able to
get you that phone number.
