Dear Dean and PATHChat readers,
PATH most certainly continues! Larry
Zarker from the NAHB Research Center
correctly stated in his reponse to
Dean's comment that the PATH office as a
separate physical location no longer
exists but PATH's funds and activities
for this fiscal year still do. Please
note that PATH's funds have always
passed through HUD and there is no
change there. Centralizing PATH
programs in HUD's Technology Division
has helped coordination efforts
tremendously.
PATH has also funded many research
projects this year, including many after
the closing of the separate PATH office.
In fact, HUD will be revamping the PATH
webpage entirely within the month to
more accurately reflect all of the
research projects, results, and services
that PATH has developed. We are
currently discussing PATH's sponsorship
of the Madison conference, too.
In the future, as always, it would
probably be best to look at our website
or simply ask PATH itself about the
program's status.
Thanks,
Carlos Martin
