I am researching the range of costs for
barrier free housing aka universal
design. I am
looking for the average costs or
percentage of cost for: 1) retrofitting
and existing
structure; and 2) new construction. In
1978 the numbers were reported as 21%
and
3% respectively by HUD. They have
referred me to this site for more
current
