If energy efficiency is key for you,
you should look into concrete housing.
ICFs will get you your highest R
values. Most will achieve R-20, but
some can get up to R-35. If you don't
need that much, concrete block, cast-in-
place and precast concrete walls will
still achieve higher R-values than
stick built homes. For more
