I don't know of any unified,
comprehensive list of green
home builders, partly because there is
no universally-accepted definition of
what a green builder is. (The US Green
Building Council, www.usgbc.org, is
currently developing a consensus-based
green home building rating system that
could help begin to fill in that
definition, but it's only just begun.)
There are lists of builders who
participate in various green building
programs. The Energy Star Homes web
site lists its participating builders
(by state) at:
http://yosemite.epa.gov/appd/eshomes/es
haware.nsf/FAB
And some local green building programs
list their participating builders,
including Austin, TX:
www.ci.austin.tx.us/greenbuilder/members
.htm
Denver, CO:
www.builtgreen.org/builders.htm
and Wisconsin:
www.wi-ei.org/GBH/builders.htm
Being on any of these lists means that a
builder meets the criteria for that
particular green building program, and
since these different programs have
different criteria, it would be hard to
shrink these many lists into one.
You might also want to join the most
active green building listserver and ask
this question to see if you can find
additional information on this topic.

Good luck!
