My husband and I are getting ready to build a new
home in Central California. Bakersfield. The house
will be 2600 sq. ft. one story.
We are looking for ways to improve the insulation,
and to keep down energy costs and usage, without
spending a fortune to do it.
If anyone can help us we would be most greatful!
We would especially like info on Whole House Fans,
Different types of insulation, (has anyone heard of
foam in insulation for the whole house?) and
different ways to inprove energy savings, best type of
windows for a mainly hot sunny area. (Although we did
have snow last winter!)
I must say that I am having a very difficult time
finding any info on any of this stuff.
