I eagerly read the information on this site regarding
SPD films for creating variable transparency windows.
It would seem to provide an ideal solution to
triangular skylights in a geodesic dome which
otherwise pose a significant window covering
challenge. Unfortunately, this technology seems to
have been "just around the corner" for a considerable
time now. If there are commercial sources for
technologies that might suit this application I would
be very interested in further information. Thanks.
