Cutting with a carbide saw is the pits !!!!!!! Shears work well on thinner material upto about 6mm thick, but do take out quite a chunk and leave an uneven edge. James Hardie produce a score and snap knife . This method is quick and easy but again only upto about 6mm thick. Thicker sheets really need to be cut with a small diamond saw with water lubricant. The cut produced is neat.
