The Rocky Mountain Institute's Amory Lovins and company has been the leader in all aspects of energy-efficiency, sustainability and related subjects for over 25 years. The "Green Development Services" at RMI.ORG have so much to offer. If you haven't kept up with Amory's work, you certainly need to see what he and they have been up to.
This very website is likely an idea from Amory Lovins and Bill Clinton; they were school mates at Oxford and have remained friends since then. Bill Clinton often seeks the advice of Amory.
