SUBJECT: RE: Building with SIPs is great!

Hi.. I'm a partner and VP of Marketing for Carl
Franklin Homes of Dallas Texas.. we're featured in
PATH's "Best Practices" section for our Hillside Oaks
subdivision in which we combined SIPS and GEOTHERMAL
HVAC for an award-winning (HUD, EPA) affordable home.

Yes, SIPS are "where it's at" for us, and we balk at
building stick-built houses anymore because of the
many advantages of SIPS. (ALL price ranges).

Regarding an earlier message posted about the "pre-
cut" packages; we tired this but found it better for
us to use blank panels and cut them on site (trouble
with the pre=cut house matching the slabs; crime
problems which we eliminate by cutting windows and
doors last)

Please check out the story about how we used SIPS and
GEOTHEMAL to great advantage on the PATH site; go to
"Best Practices" from the front page, then choose
"Index" and then choose "Hillside Oaks".

We also have a website at www.carlfranklinhomes.com
if you care to visit.

Best regards,

Dick
