SUBJECT: RE: RE: Wanted SIPs for ceilings or roofs feedback

My husband and I are in the process of building a
timber frame home with SIPs. I tried to find the
original message referenced in this reply but was
unsuccessful. Our SIPs are going up now. Sounds
like you have some experience that would benefit us?
We are hearing pros and cons about roof installation.
How big a problem is a "hot roof?" My husband is
considering simply having the roof installed on top of
the OSB on the roof, like a regular, conventional roof.
What were your problems with the wall panels, etc?
What preventative measures should be taken at
installation?
