SUBJECT: RE: Wanted SIPs for ceilings or roofs feedback

Bill,
I was looking through the forum entries and noticed
your question. I also read the responses. When you
use the SIPs in a roof application be careful. I have
smmarized one of the problems that I encountered in
the Forum Question "SIP Roofs". If you haven't read
it, you should. If the panels are not ventilated and
have not been sealed properly, you are asking for
trouble. Since I placed that note in the forum I have
also found that the problem exists in the wall panels
at hoints high in a cathedral ceiling.

I am currently in the midst of the unpleasant task of
trying to correct all of the problem.
