sue | Posted - 20 December 2002 10:48 I am interested in changing my corrosion ridden evaporative cooler for a newer model. There seems to be two newer kinds available to replace the metal one now in use. One utilizes a seperate water chamber with a very thick channelled pad for the water flow. The other is the statndard 4 sided pad unit, but is made out of a plastic material. Any thoughts, suggestions or recommendations will be appreciated. I don't mind the cooling compromises of an evaporative system, but I do long for something that is a little more durable than the metal ones have been. |
