PATH actively works with builders, remodelers, and manufacturers on two distinct types of projects: Field Evaluations and Demonstration Sites. Field Evaluations are the first step in the introduction of PATH technologies to the home building industry. Although many PATH technologies are not new, the information available to the industry is either vague or nonexistent. Information gathered by Field Evaluations fills gaps in existing information about the technologies undergoing evaluation. This comprehensive information on technologies is necessary to determine their potential for advancing the goals of the PATH program. Demonstration Sites are comprised of subdivisions with 25 or more homes. These projects will be used to illustrate and evaluate how PATH technologies perform on a community-wide or production scale. Demonstrations will primarily focus on technologies whose cost and performance is well documented. However, Demonstration Sites may also include Field Evaluations of new and emerging PATH technologies. Field Evaluations at a Demonstration Site allow prompt feedback to the building industry.
To submit a Field Evaluation or Demonstration Site for consideration by PATH, fill out the online entry form below.
